Access the AQtive Guard web application at: your-domain.aqtiveguard.sandboxaq.com

Assigning user roles↑
AQtive Guard integrates with your organization’s Identity Provider (IdP) to manage user configuration, including roles and access permissions. This means that user accounts and their associated roles are defined and controlled externally, through your existing IdP, rather than within AQtive Guard itself.
The following sections outline the different user roles available in AQtive Guard, the permissions associated with each role, and the specific access granted to each.
User roles and permissions↑
An AQtive Guard user can be assigned one of the following roles and permissions:
- Admin - has full access and capabilities in AQtive Guard.
- Uploader - the ability to upload data generated using an AQtive Guard sensor or supported external file format.
- Read only - has read-only access to limited pages in AQtive Guard.
The following sections provide details for the access granted for each role.
Admin↑
Users assigned the Admin role have full access to AQtive Guard. Administrators can:
- Perform system configuration in Settings.
- Configure integrations.
Read-only↑
Users assigned the Read-only user role can view content on the following pages:
- Dashboard
- Inventory
- IT Assets
- Rules (only list view; can’t create/modify/delete rules)
- Issues
Note
To limit access to sensitive user and company data, users assigned the Read-only role can’t access Settings.
Uploader↑
Uploader users can upload a supported file format, such as CBOM or PCAP, or a trace generated using an AQtive Guard sensor.
